Qld: Man granted bail after alleged road rage stabbing

BRISBANE, Jan 21 AAP - A man who allegedly stabbed a fellow motorist in the head with scissors in a road rage incident has been granted bail.

Adam Josh Gordon, 20, appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed and in company.

It is alleged Gordon, from Bunya, was involved in a road rage incident with complainant Shannon Matthew Kras at Samford Village in Brisbane's north-west on Tuesday afternoon.

Mr Kras is being treated for deep cuts on the right side of his face, the Royal Brisbane Hospital told AAP.

Gordon, who is also suffering from a cut on his right leg, was released on bail and will reappear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on February 11.

The adjournment was ordered so that he can seek legal aid.
