Vic: Teen charged with murder over footy ground fight

An 18-year-old man has briefly appeared in court .. charged with murdering one man and attempting to murder another .. during a fight at a football ground north-west of Melbourne.
20-year-old NATHAN ROBERTS-NUNAN .. of Diggers Rest .. was killed during a brawl at a football ground at Diggers Rest on Sunday night.
Another Diggers Rest man .. STEPHEN THORNEYCROFT .. was critically injured during the fight in which both men were allegedly stabbed.
18-year-old NATHAN SMITH of St Albans appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court today .. charged with murder .. attempted murder and affray .. and made no application for bail.
Magistrate FELICITY BROUGHTON remanded him in custody to reappear in court in June.
