NSW: Police officer facing domestic violence charges

SYDNEY, Feb 19 AAP - A NSW police officer has been charged with attacking and intimidating a woman during an alleged domestic dispute.

The North West Metropolitan Region officer is due to face court next month on two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, three counts of assault, two counts of intimidation and four counts of misuse of telecommunications.

A woman reported the alleged domestic violence last Friday after an incident at a home on Sydney's north-western outskirts, police said in a statement.

The 34-year-old officer was conditionally bailed to appear in Windsor Local Court on March 11.
