SYDNEY, March 20 AAP - Social networking site MySpace hopes to attract huge numbers of internet users to a new reality TV-style dating web show.

Launching on Monday, Kiss or Miss will follow the journey of two potential love birds who are yet to meet in person.

As part of the show, the couple must date four of their friends first.

A MySpace spokesman said he believed programs that utilised the social networking phenomenon represented the future of reality shows.

"Kiss or Miss is Farmer Wants a Wife on acid, with a healthy sprinkling of MySpace colour," said MySpace Video Australia director Mike Kerry.

Each episode will be about five minutes.
