NSW: Shots fired at house in Canley Heights

31 Mar 2009 1:56 PM

Shots have been fired at a home in Sydney's southwest in the latest of a string of apparently random attacks.

Police say several shots hit the house in Canley Heights last night .. while it's believed several more may have been fired and missed.

The house is believed to have been occupied at the time .. but no one was injured.

Detectives believe the incident ISN'T linked to outlaw motorcycle gangs.

It comes after a string of similar incidents in the past three weeks .. including shots being fired at a brothel in Kings Cross yesterday .. after a jeweller's shop at North Roselands was targeted on Friday.
