Qld: Solar systems to slash power bills

About 200-thousand Queensland households will have access to cheap .. hot water systems under a plan by the state government.
The three-year program allows Queenslanders to register for a hot water system at a subsidised price of 500-dollars per unit for a household and 100 dollars for pensioners.
Premier ANNA BLIGH says the initiative will slash household electricity use by a third.
