NSW: Police probe bikie links to brazen Sydney car theft

SYDNEY, Feb 14 AAP - Gang squad detectives are investigating links between bikie gangs and the violent theft of 12 cars worth half a million dollars from a western Sydney car yard.
In February, 13 men walked through the main gates of the car dealership on Shepherd St, Liverpool and assaulted three male employees. One of the workers was locked in a car boot.
The group then drove off with 12 unregistered cars, including two Holden Commodores, four VW Golfs, a Mitsubishi Lancer, a white Mitsubishi Triton and a black VW Passat.
As part of their investigation into the February 14 theft, police on Wednesday conducted two raids at Liverpool and Campsie, seizing a small amount of cannabis and heroin, clothing, mobile phones and SIM cards.
A 22-year-old woman has been charged with possessing a prohibited drug, and was granted bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court at a later date.
Another woman, 21, is being questioned at Liverpool police station.
Wednesday's raids followed the arrest of a man, believed to be a Comanchero, after a police chase at Bexley on March 4.
Police have now recovered seven of the stolen vehicles, but are calling on the public to help locate the remaining five cars - a white Mazda 3, black Subaru Impreza WRX, a green Holden Commodore SV6 and two VW Golfs, one black and the other grey.
Detectives have reissued an image of a man they believe could help with their inquiries.
