EUR: Obama on official visit to Russia July 6-8: Kremlin

The Kremlin says on its website US president BARACK OBAMA will make his first official visit to Russia since entering the White House .. from July 6 to 8.
OBAMA had said following talks with Russian President DMITRY MEDVEDEV .. on the eve of the G20 summit in London on April 1 .. that he would visit Russia in July.
He said on Thursday he is hopeful of improving ties between Washington and Moscow .. after hosting visiting Foreign Minister SERGEI LAVROV in the Oval Office.
