NSW: Man shot in leg at Kings Cross

A man in his mid-20s was shot twice in his leg this morning at Kings Cross in Sydney.
Police say they heard gun shots about 2:40am (AEST) this morning the vicinity of Darlinghurst Road and found a man shot in the leg.
They say they also saw a man fleeing and chased him on foot up Bayswater Road .. but he got away and a later search of the area was unsuccessful.
The injured man was taken to St Vincents Hospital .. where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
