BRISBANE, May 30 AAP - Seven passengers on the cruise ship Pacific Dawn have returned negative tests for swine flu, Queensland Health said on Saturday.

"Test results for H1N1 influenza A from passengers of the Pacific Dawn cruise ship have returned negative," Queensland Health's chief health officer Dr Jeannette Young said.

Dr Young confirmed that the seven samples taken for testing from the cruise ship had not returned any A(H1N1) markers.

"The test results from the cruise ship did return three positives for seasonal influenza A," she said.

"While this is a comforting result it is not time to drop our guard."

Passengers living in Queensland are in the process of disembarking from the Pacific Dawn in Brisbane.
