US: Two US officers accused of running check on Obama

Authorities are investigating two Atlanta-area police officers .. accused of using government computers to run a criminal background check on US President BARACK OBAMA.
WILLIAM MILLER .. public safety director for DeKalb County .. says the officers have been put on leave until an investigation is finished.
MILLER says the police department was notified by the US Secret Service that DeKalb County computers were used to run a check on OBAMA .. but did not say what the officers' motive may have been.
The officers' names were not released.
