An estimated 150 thousand Australians have glaucoma .. an eye disease which leads to irreversible vision loss .. and they don't yet know it.
Professor JONATHAN CROWSTON .. from the Centre for Eye Research Australia .. says a simple eye test can detect the disease.
He says it's vital to get a test early as treatment can stop the damage but not reverse it.
This week is National Glaucoma Week.
