WASHINGTON, Sept 17 AFP - The United States is prepared to make 10 per cent of its A(H1N1) vaccine supply available to other countries, the White House said on Thursday.

The vaccine would be made available through the World Health Organisation (WHO), said a statement from the office of White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs.

"The United States will make the H1N1 vaccine available to the WHO on a rolling basis as vaccine supplies become available, in order to assist countries that will not otherwise have direct access to the vaccine," the statement said.
