Nobel Peace Prize for Obama "premature"

Sydney Peace Foundation Director Professor STUART REES says US President BARACK OBAMA has been given the Nobel Peace Prize prematurely.
Professor REES says OBAMA winning the prize comes as a massive shock and he has a lot of work to do to live up to the award.
President OBAMA was sensationally given the Peace Prize last night .. less than a year after taking office .. with the jury hailing his extraordinary diplomatic efforts on the international stage.
But Professor REES says President OBAMA will now have to prove himself with concrete results and he also has a lot of work to do domestically.
The Sydney Peace Foundation awards its own annual peace prize with journalist and social commentator JOHN PILGER being given the 2009 award.
