Police have charged a fourth person over a series of armed robberies in Melbourne .. including one on former AMA chief MUKESH HAIKERWAL.
Dr HAIKERWAL suffered serious injuries and lay in a coma for three days .. after he was allegedly set upon by a gang while walking in Williamstown late on September 27.
Three other people were bashed in the space of an hour in Melbourne's innerwest on September 27 .. in what police believe were unrelated .. random attacks.
ALFER AZZOPARDI .. of Coolaroo .. faces six charges of armed robbery and other assault and weapon related offences.
The 19 year old's been remanded into custody and is due to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on February 2.
