Police say a shooting in the Victorian city of Geelong last night .. which left a man critically injured .. is not linked to recent motorcycle gangactivity.
Ambulance Victoria spokesman JOHN MULLEN says the man .. aged in his 30s ..was shot in the head and chest at a house in Fairbairn Drive at Corio .. shortly after ten o'clock last night (AEDT).
The man .. who does not live at the address .. was flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Victoria Police spokesman Senior Constable WAYNE WILSON says armed crimes taskforce detectives are investigating .. and will question three people whowere at the house at the time of the shooting .. but it appears gang activity was not involved.
