DARWIN, Nov 5 AAP - Three people have died in two accidents in less than24 hours on Northern Territory roads.
Two people were killed when their car rolled on the Stuart Highway 30km south of Barrow Creek about 3.30pm (CST) today, police said.
The occupants, a man and a woman, had died by the time emergency crews arrived.
In a separate incident, a man standing on the road in the remote Northern Territory outback was struck by a car and killed about 9.30pm yesterday.
The accident happened about one kilometre west of the Little Moyle River crossing on the main Wadeye to Daly River Road, south-east of Darwin.
Police said a Toyota Hilux utility hit the 35-year-old victim who was standing on the road.
The fatalities take the territory's annual road toll to 69, 25 more than atthe same time last year.
