Vic: No action against school involved in Henson model scout

Victorian Education Minister BRONWYN PIKE says the school principal who allowed controversial photographer BILL HENSON to scout for models in her schoolyard WON'T face disciplinary action.

Former St Kilda Park Primary School principal SUE KNIGHT's been investigated by the Victorian Education department.

Mr HENSON was at the centre of an uproar earlier this year over a Sydney exhibition of his photographs depicting naked children.

Ms PIKE says the investigation's found Ms KNIGHT .. who's now principal of Coburg West Primary School .. did not work outside department guidelines.

Additional recommendations by the department will now require all school communities to adopt and publish well defined policies for visitors .. talentscouts and partnerships with community groups.
