PAC: 5.4 quake shakes northern New Zealand
08 Nov 2008 11:51 PMWELLINGTON, Nov 9 NZPA - An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter Scale shook the Bay of Plenty today.
The quake at 12.57am was centred 20km west of Rotorua, at a depth of 200km,GNS Science reported.
The quake was widely felt in the North Island.
