Indonesia's two largest Muslim organisations have called for calm .. ahead of the execution of the three Bali bombers .. amid fears of reprisal by the bombers' supporters.
Antara news agency says the executions of AMROZI .. MUKHLAS and IMAM SAMUDRA are set to take place early today.
However .. protests by Islamic militants have been slowly building as the process has dragged on over the past week.
The Muslim organisations NAHDLATUL ULAMA and MUHAMMADIYAH .. estimated to have at least 70 million members between them .. have called on their members not to be provoked by calls for revenge.
The MUHAMMADIYAH Regional Leadership Board says the Bali bombers' actions were not in accordance with Islamic beliefs .. and it's not for anyone to decide they will die as a martyr .. it's the sole discretion of Allah.
