NSW: Car loses contol during pursuit - police
10 Nov 2008 11:33 PMSYDNEY, Nov 10 AAP - A car has lost control during a pursuit in Sydney'swest tonight, colliding with a van before crashing into a wall, police say.
The pursuit started at about 8pm (AEDT) when officers investigating a brawlat Merrylands attempted to pull over a Nissan Pulsar, which failed to stop, police said.
The car lost control during the pursuit, colliding with a van on the Cumberland Highway at South Wentworthville before crashing into a wall and a pole.
An independent Critical Investigation Team has been set up to examine the circumstances of the crash.
A police spokesman said it was too early to comment on the speed of the pursuit.
Two men in the Nissan have been taken to Westmead Hospital with serious injuries.
