NSW: Police charge man over Kings Cross stabbing
11 Nov 2008 3:36 PMSYDNEY, Nov 11 AAP - A man has been charged over the repeated stabbing of another man during a fight in Sydney's red-light district.
Police said a 25-year-old man was stabbed four times in the chest and hip during a brawl involving a group of men outside Kings Cross railway early onNovember 2.
Information from witnesses led to the arrest of a 27-year-old man at Kensington, in Sydney's east. He has been charged with affray and maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm.
He also faces a charge of possessing a prescribedrestricted substance after police allegedly found human growth hormone at the Kensington property.
He will face Waverley Local Court later today.
The injured man is recovering.
