PERTH, Nov 12 AAP - A teenager accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old boy and his seven-year-old sister in a Perth park has been remanded in custody after appearing in court.
Adam Bradley Field, 19, faced the Perth Magistrates Court charged with two counts of deprivation of liberty and three counts of aggravated sexual assault against a child under 13 years.
He was not required to enter a plea, and the court was told he faced other unrelated charges in another court.
Police allege Field lured two primary school children into bushland on Monday afternoon as they walked home through a park.
He assaulted both children before letting them go, police say.
The children reported the incident to their mother and both were taken to hospital.
The girl later underwent surgery for injuries she received during the assault, police said.
Field was remanded in custody until his next appearance at the same court on December 10.
