MID: Car bomb in northern Iraq kills at least seven
16 Nov 2008 12:38 AMIraqi police say at least seven people have been killed and more than two dozen wounded when a car bomb exploded near an auto dealership in the northern Iraqi town of Tal Afar.
The US military meantime says 10 people were killed in the bombing and another 20 were wounded.
Tal Afar is halfway between Iraq's border with Syria and the northern city of Mosul .. which the US military considers the last remaining urban bastion of al-Qaeda in Iraq.
