A Sydney jury's been told that days before their arrest .. five men accused of hatching a terrorist plot were warned the law was onto them .. and they should "just do it".
Crown prosecutor RICHARD MAIDMENT says another man linked to the plot warned the five the authorities were about to raid their houses .. and they should carry out their plan.
Mr MAIDMENT says the men then got so concerned about being followed .. one decided not to pick up an order of sulphuric acid .. an ingredient for explosives .. despite the fact he'd already paid for it.
35 year old KHALED CHEIKHO .. 31 year old MOUSTAFA CHEIKHO .. 43 year old MOHAMED ALI ELOMAR .. 39 year old ABDUL RAKIB HASAN and 24 year old MOHAMMEDOMAR JAMAL .. have pleaded not guilty to conspiring to commit acts in preparation for a terrorist act.
