NSW: Father and two children drown, rescuer survives
19 Nov 2008 2:14 AMPolice are still trying to work out how a father and his two children fell off a wharf in southern New South Wales and drowned.
The father in his late 20s or early 30s .. and his two children aged between three and five .. ended up in the water about eight o'clock last night (AEDT) at Tathra.
All three were pulled from the water unconscious and couldn't be revived.
A second man who tried to rescue them was also unconscious when he was pulled out .. but has been revived by paramedics and taken to Bega District Hospital.
Bystanders say they saw a pram in the water near the site of the tragedy.
At this stage police aren't treating the incident as suspicious.
