ACT: Teens in murder plot had lined car boot, brought shovels
19 Nov 2008 7:19 PMCANBERRA, Nov 19 AAP - Three teenagers conspired to murder a boy by choking him and then hitting him with a baseball bat, police have told a court.
The trio tried to kill the unnamed 17-year-old and planned to dump his bodyoutside Canberra, police told the ACT Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
Police said the accused had lined a car boot with a curtain and were carrying shovels, ABC Radio reported.
Alexander Raymond Iacuone, 18, Alexander Duffy, 19, and Blake Sewell, 18, are accused of assaulting the 17-year-old in southern Canberra early on Tuesday.
Duffy and Iacuone were refused bail while Sewell did not apply for bail.
