Fed: Film companies sue ISP to stop illegal downloads

Some of the biggest names in the film industry are taking legal action against internet service provider iiNet .. to stop the piracy of films like Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

The film companies have taken iiNet to the federal court .. saying it's infringing copyright.

The action has been launched by Village Roadshow .. Universal Pictures .. Warner Bros Entertainment .. Paramount Pictures .. Sony Pictures Entertainment .. Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation .. Disney Enterprises and the Seven Network.
