NSW: Qantas flight cancelled after plane received wing damage
23 Nov 2008 2:37 AMQantas is investigating the cause of another engineering mishap which has left more than 200 passengers stranded in Sydney.
The New Zealand bound flight was aborted just moments before takeoff when an engineer at Sydney airport discovered damage to it's right wing flap.
Qantas says all 213 passengers on the plane have been provided with accommodation and meal vouchers .. and booked on another flight early this morning.
The cause of the damage is being assessed.
