Fed: Canberra policewoman hurt in car crash
23 Nov 2008 3:37 PMA Canberra policewoman was seriously hurt after a police car hit a lightpole while responding to a report of burglars last night.
ACT police say the 26-year-old female officer was taken to Canberra hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
Her male companion was also taken to hospital .. but discharged a short time later.
The police car sustained significant damage.
