NSW: Abducted children reunited with mother
23 Nov 2008 4:10 PMSYDNEY, Nov 23 AAP - Two young children have been reunited with their mother more than 24 hours after they were abducted in Sydney's west, NSW police say.
The children were taken from a house in Lawrence Street, Fairfield, about 8am (AEDT) on Saturday by a 37-year-old man driving a grey Suzuki Vitara, police said.
The man allegedly made threats about the safety of the children - a six-year-old boy and a girl aged two - and police held serious concerns for theirwelfare.
Police said the children were returned to their mother at 3.45pm (AEST) on Sunday.
The man remains at large.
