Qld: Police probe suspicious death in Rockhampton
24 Nov 2008 11:53 AMBRISBANE, Nov 24 AAP - Police are interviewing a man after the suspicious death of a woman in Rockhampton.
Police said officers responded to a triple-zero call at a house in Rice Street, Park Avenue, around 2.25am (AEST) on Monday.
They found an injured 45-year-old woman, who was taken to hospital.
She died a short time later in Rockhampton Base Hospital.
A 32-year-old man is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
