SYDNEY, Nov 26 AAP - Police believe several men who disguised themselves before exploding three ATMs across Sydney are all aged in their 30s.
Four thieves set off an explosion at the Bendigo Bank street-front ATM in Clovelly Road, Clovelly, in the city's east, about 1.45am (AEDT) on Tuesday.
However, they were forced to abandon their Audi getaway car after it was damaged in the explosion, police said.
The men then carjacked a white 1998 Toyota Corolla with registration plates VMA 070, forcing a man and woman from the car to make their escape.
Police could not confirm reports one of the men was injured in the explosion.
About the same time, three men were seen blowing up an ATM in Chester Hill, damaging the front of a bank.
In the third incident, an ATM in Guildford was blown up at about 2.15am. Police do not yet know if cash was taken in any of the three blasts.
Despite Polair, dog squad and other searches of the areas, none of the men have been found.
They are all described as being in their early 30s, and wearing heavy clothing and disguises.
Police could not comment on whether some of the men may have been involved in both incidents, and would not disclose the nature of the disguises they used.
The recent raids bring the total number of ATM blasts to 10 over the past four months after four other machines were similarly raided a week ago.
