Qld: Man due to appear in court over harbour deaths

Police say a man charged over a Sydney Harbour boat collision that killed six people earlier this year may face further charges.
The 24-year-old .. a former barman at Balmain's Commercial Hotel .. was allegedly under the influence of alcohol while at the helm of an overloaded runabout which slammed into a fishing trawler on May 1.
Six of 14 young revellers on board were killed.
He'll face six charges of dangerous navigation occasioning death .. at Maroochydore Magistrates Court today.
Police are seeking his extradition to appear in Sydney's Central Local Court tomorrow.
