NSW: Girl dragged into van during attempted abduction

SYDNEY, Dec 1 AAP - An 11-year-old schoolgirl has reported being bundled into a van by two men in an abduction attempt in the NSW southern tablelands, police say.
The girl was walking to school along Sloane Street, Goulburn, when the men reportedly grabbed her and put her in the back of the van about 8.40am (AEDT) on Monday.
"The girl managed to escape unharmed and reportedly ran 500 metres to school where she advised authorities," police said in a statement.
A search of the area failed to find the men or the vehicle - described as white with two pink stripes along the side.
