Qld: Three charged with separate murders

BRISBANE, Dec 7 AAP - Three people have been charged after separate suspected murders in Queensland within the one night.
A 32-year-old man has been charged with murdering a 59-year-old man in Townsville and is due to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on Monday.
Police said they found a man dead from head injuries after receiving a call to a house about 6.20pm (AEST) on Saturday.
A 54-year-old woman has been charged with murder after a 50-year-old man died from stab wounds in Cornubia, south of Brisbane, about 11pm (AEST) on Saturday.
She is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday.
A 25-year-old man has been charged with one count of murder following the death of a 42-year-old man at Mackay on Sunday morning.
It is alleged the younger man was involved in an altercation with a group of people at the Mackay Harbour about 2.30am that resulted in the death.
The charged man is due to appear in the Mackay Magistrates Court on Monday morning.
