Hong Kong shares close up 5.6 per cent

Hong Kong share prices have closed 5.6 per cent higher .. as China stocks were boosted by hopes of new economic stimulus measures by Beijing.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index closed up 824.52 points to 15,577.74.
Turnover was $HK61.85 billion $US7.93 billion ($A12.08 billion).
