Key facts of Australian special forces operations in Afghanistan:
* Special operations task group (SOTG) numbers 330 with soldiers from Special Air Service Regiment, 4RAR Commando Battalion and other units.
* Seven Australian soldiers killed in Afghanistan since 2002, six from SOTG.
* 50 SOTG soldiers have been wounded in action, most returning to duty.
