NSW: No justification for changing gun laws: Greens, NCGC

The NSW Greens say there's no justification for gun law changes put up by the Shooters Party that'll allow domestic violence offenders to buy guns.
Greens MLC LEE RHIANNON says that right now .. we have a very dangerous situation in New South Wales.
Figures from the NSW Firearm Registry .. obtained by the National Coalition for Gun Control .. show gun ownership has risen by 10 thousand a year since 2004 .. to nearly 690 thousand.
The coalition says the rise coincides with a deal cut by the NSW government and the Shooters Party to water down tough gun laws introduced in the wake of Tasmania's Port Arthur massacre.
National Coalition for Gun Control coordinator SAM LEE says it's simple ... the more firearms in the community .. the more likely another massacre will occur.
