Vic: Vic builders say clients pulling out of home projects

Victorian builders say more than half their clients have pulled out of new home projects in the past three months .. as the global credit squeeze bites.
The Master Builders Association survey shows 52 per cent have dumped building plans .. citing financing problems as the biggest issue.
MBA executive director BRIAN WELCH says it's another sign of the tough times facing the building industry which .. he says .. is the backbone of the Victorian economy.
