Qld: Police officer charged with drink driving

BRISBANE, Dec 16 AAP - A police officer has been charged with drink driving on the Gold Coast.
A police spokeswoman said the 32-year-old Gold Coast constable was intercepted at a random breath testing site on the weekend.
He has been served with a notice to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on January 12.
The incident is also being investigated by the Queensland Police Service's ethical standards command and has been reported to the Crime and Misconduct Commission.
