MELBOURNE, Dec 17 AAP - Nine people have been arrested over a series of ramraids in Melbourne's northern suburbs over the past six weeks.
The latest attack was on a Tullamarine transport business on Wednesday morning in which over 60 mobile phones, worth $1000 each, were stolen.
Eight ramraids using prime mover trucks have been carried out in Broadmeadows, Moreland, Tullamarine and St Albans, a police spokeswoman said.
Four of the nine arrested were taken to Broadmeadows Magistrates Court on Wednesday afternoon, facing unknown charges.
