NSW: Two officers injured during arrest - police

SYDNEY, Dec 19 AAP - Two police officers have been injured, one by a beer bottle, while responding to a call-out on the NSW far south coast, police say.
The officers were called to a house on Edward Rd at Batehaven at about 5.30pm (AEDT) on Thursday after reports of a trespass.
They tried to speak to two men just outside the house, but when they approached one man allegedly ran towards them with two beer bottles.
They attempted to arrest the man but the other man allegedly hit one officer in the head with a full bottle of beer.
He was taken to Batemans Bay Hospital with a head wound, which needed several stitches.
The other officer suffered a muscle tear and a sprained finger.
Four Batemans Bay men, aged 26, 25, 28 and 29, have been charged with one count each of reckless wounding in company, wound officer in execution of duty, enter enclosed land, affray, use an offensive weapon to avoid apprehension, resist arrest and assault police.
All four were bail refused to appear in Batemans Bay Local Court later on Friday.
