FED: National holiday road toll rises to seven

The national holiday road toll has risen to seven with deaths in the Northern Territory .. Victoria and NSW.
The Northern Territory's holiday road toll stands at two with the death of a pedestrian on the Stuart Highway at Knuckeys Lagoon yesterday.
Police say the woman was crossing the highway when she apparently walked into the path of a removalist truck.
A motorcyclist died when his bike crashed into a light pole yesterday on the Mornington Peninsula only 100 metres from a party he's believed to have had left .. taking Victoria's toll to three.
NSW recorded its first fatality for the holiday period yesterday when three cars crashed next to the Woronora Bridge in Sydney's south.
And in Queensland .. a motorcyclist died early yesterday in a high speed crash at Emerald after evading police attempts to stop him.
