NSW: Yachtsman rescued off Norfolk Island

Two weeks past his expected arrival in New Zealand .. a yachtsman's been found near Norfolk Island after washing onto rocks.
Sixty-year-old New Zealand man REWI KEMP was rescued from Nepean Island .. near Norfolk .. where he'd been thrown overboard as his craft .. the Moonshadow .. smashed against rocks.
Officials on Norfolk say the yachtsman was found safe and well sitting on a rock and was taken to the Island's hospital where he was cleared of any serious injury.
Mr KEMP was bound for New Zealand after leaving Fiji.
He's now expected to fly to Auckland on Sunday.
