NSW: No new fatalities as holiday road toll remains at 27

SYDNEY, Dec 26 AAP - The national holiday road toll remains at 27, with no new fatalities reported over the past 24 hours.
The last person to die on Australia's roads this season was a passenger in a Toyota Troop Carrier, which rolled on the Stuart Highway about 50 kilometres south of Katherine at about 11am (CST) yesterday, bringing the territory's toll to three.
Victoria tops the road toll with eight deaths, followed by NSW with seven.
There have been four deaths in both Queensland and Western Australia, one in South Australia, while no road fatalities have been reported from Tasmania and the ACT.
