SYDNEY, Dec 27 AAP - Emergency crews have contained a bushfire burning in the NSW central west for four days.
The blaze, in thick bushland near Mt Mologone, about 10km south of Naradhan, was sparked by a lightning strike on Tuesday.
An RFS spokesman said while the fire was under control, crews would continue to monitor the situation over the next few days.
"We still have crews patrolling the edges of the fire to make sure it stays behind the containment lines," he said.
"We've been fairly lucky with the temperatures today and the winds weren't quite as strong as expected, so it's given us a bit of breather to get it under control."
Although burning on private land, the fire has not threatened any property.
