NSW: Holiday road toll rises to 30

There've been no reported deaths on the nation's roads so far today.
The toll was pushed up to 30 last night .. when a 35-year-old man died after being thrown from the back of a ute on a beach in North Queensland.
The man was ridding in the back of the ute in Cungulla .. south of Townsville .. when it rolled about 6pm (AEST).
The 25-year-old male driver wasn't injured in the incident.
Victoria tops the road toll with nine deaths .. followed by New South Wales with seven.
There have been six deaths in Queensland and four Western Australia .. three in the Northern Territory and one in South Australia .. while no road fatalities have been recorded in Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory.
