Qld: Four die in 12 hours on WA roads

BRISBANE, Dec 28 AAP - Four people have died in an horrific 12 hours on Western Australian roads, taking the state's holiday road toll to eight.
Two motorcyclists were killed within hours of each other in Perth suburbs early on Sunday.
One was killed in the eastern Perth suburb of Gooseberry Hill when his motorbike crashed into a tree at about 2.00am.
About three hours later, another man died in Seville Grove, south of Perth, when his motorcycle hit a pole.
Acting inspector Mark Valentine said relatives were yet to be notified, so no further information was available.
Yesterday afternoon two people died and another two were seriously injured in a head-on collision on the Old Coast Road near Lake Clifton.
The state's toll road may rise to nine as police attempt to determine whether a man who died after falling from his bicycle died from a heart attack or as a result of road trauma.
"Every one of these crashes is avoidable if people just take care," said Mr Valentine.
