GAZA CITY, Dec 30 AFP - A fresh Israeli air strike on the Hamas-run Gaza Strip has killed two sisters aged four and 11, Palestinian medical sources say.
Lama and Haya Hamdan were killed in a raid targeting a donkey cart in the town of Beit Hanun in northern Gaza on Tuesday, the sources said.
In a separate air strike against a Hamas police post near the southern Gaza town of Khan Yunis, one Palestinian was killed and two wounded.
Israel unleashed its deadly bombardment of Hamas targets in Gaza on Saturday in retaliation for persistent rocket fire from the territory.
The blitz has killed at least 360 Palestinians and wounded 1,690, according to medics. At least 57 of the dead are civilians, according to the UN.
Gaza militants have fired more than 250 rockets into Israel since Saturday, killing four people -- three civilians and one soldier -- and wounding several dozen others, according to medics.
